You will have to find a ship, build a crew, and explore the different settlements that form the colony as you try to survive in this crazy world where corporations control every aspect of life. As you arrive at the Halcyon colony, you will find that the reality is quite different from what you expected and get involved in a conflict where the many factions that populate the place are fighting for power. In The Outer Worlds, you wake up on a colonist ship that has been lost in transit for decades. Or that's what you have been told, at least. The Halcyon colony is a place controlled by megacorporations and a heavenly place full of commodities and services that will make your life quite pleasant. Space colonization has been humanity's dream for ages, and you are about to contribute to it by working in one of the colony systems in the outskirts of the galaxy.
